Centennial Academy

Centennial is the only High School in Quebec that helps students master their challenges of learning and graduate on time. Centennial is a high school like no other. We have developed a uniquely successful approach to teaching and discovered how to create optimal learning conditions for a wide variety of learners – and how to make great things happen in the process. At Centennial, we help students become autonomous, resilient learners through innovation and collaboration. Our team of teachers and learning specialists monitors our students’ progress on a weekly basis and helps them build their self-confidence and develop more effective learning behaviours. We provide consistent routines, systems and structures for our students, which creates a sense of predictability and has been proven to alleviate stress and anxiety. We provide all the learning services our students need under one roof, as well as a supervised homework period built into every school day. As a result, our families have less stress and more quality time together. And, importantly, more than 80% of our students graduate in five years and go on to college.
